Grandparent portrait present number two

I was back at Golden Acre the very next day after the last family for another present for a proud grandfather. The difference this time was that he was in on the act, having been told about the present on his birthday.  So he came along to have his portrait with the whole family –…

  • Gordon Oates

    Hi.

I’m that handsome (ha,ha), proud ‘Grandad’ on the photograph surrounded by my son, daughters and sons-in-law with their beautiful children

What a great selection of photographs, particularly those of Alice, Molly, Annie and Sam. You can see where they get their good looks from! Thanks, Susie.

  • Fantastic (as usual)! Loving the new processing too 🙂

  • What little cuties, they are making me want an ice cream!

Surprise present portrait

  • Beautiful work! I love them all, but the shot coming out of the church and the portraits of Mr & Mrs in the field are stunning.

  • What a stunning set of photographs! I love the one of the bride in the car, and the romantic feel to the one second from last. Great work!

  • Wow! You got loads of really gorgeous shots there Susie! Brilliant!!

  • Beautiful images, love the field and B&Ws especially.

  • these are gorgeous wedding images – my favourite has to be the one of the helen & ben, 4 from the end, – the quality of light is gorgeous and there is a timelessness about it – you can really see they are lost in the moment.

  • Absolutely beautiful wedding – so many wonderful portraits! I love the summery feel of the second one in the field. The young girl in the pews is fantastic too! Excellent job!

Sarah and John’s wedding

No, I haven’t disappeared off the face of the earth.  But I’m very conscious that I’ve got more than a bit behind with blogging what I’ve been doing over the summer.  I did have a small interlude in France with my family and I’m hoping that next year I may be able to combine this…

  • Love the shots! Especially the buggy shot (both of them, actually), totally worth hanging on for dear life with Stewart’s crazy driving! Also love the last picture.

Great picture of Stewart working it for the camera too!
