‘The Lawrences do spring’ – the next in the series if you’ve been following – was scheduled to take place at Easter as we went to France, where, surely, conditions were bound to be spring-like. Wrong. Dampness was the order of every day. I will post some of the few shots I took when we ventured out of the house, though sunshine and flowers are conspicuous by their absence, but in the meantime, here’s Maisie’s reaction to getting home yesterday. Glad to be reunited with her cuddly toys, she arranged a grand teddy bears’ picnic in the garden where the Leeds spring was in fact in full swing.
