Kirsty and Joel’s PapaKata teepee wedding in the Yorkshire countryside
A teepee in a field with cows. What more could I have asked for? Kirsty and Joel’s PapaKata wedding was such a happy day with all the elements a relaxed Yorkshire countryside celebration could possibly need. They first started going out at school and got together again recently. Kirsty’s little girl almost stole the show with her infectious excitement and while her mum is quite shy, her happiness and beauty were really clear to see. Joel is in the middle of a PhD about traffic lights! I suppose somebody has to know enough about traffic lights to make them work properly and now I know who that person is and I’m glad to say that although I’m certain the nation’s traffic light phasing is in excellent hands, he also has other talents and is an amazing musician. The song he wrote and performed for his speech was fantastic.
The church service was one of those where the photographer has to stand at the back (boo). So I made up for it by getting up close and making the most of the lovely reception setting.
