I wasn’t sure how a winter morning with two lively girls and two even livelier dogs would turn out. But as always, fearing the worst, we ended up with the most beautiful morning – a light mist, some sparkly frost and the odd glimpse of sunlight. I swear there was even some fairy dust in the woods – at least something was glistening in the air that I’d never seen before and didn’t show on the images…
The result was a lovely set of portraits that will make Christmas presents for dad and two grannies (none of whom apparently are au fait with the joys of blogging so this shouldn’t spoil the surprise) and some landscape shots that I couldn’t resist for myself. I can’t take credit for the fantastic light – it really was amazing – but I think we got some great presents that Santa would be proud of:
SilverbackYou may not be able to take credit for the light, Susie, but you can take credit for capturing it so well.
I especially love 3 and 14 which really pick out the dramatic lighting. I also like 15 as it shows off the personality of the doggie from ground level and as often with your sets of photos, you’ve included one (20) that brings the ‘story’ to a lovely end…..although in this case it’s not actually the last photo !
Thank you for sharing them. The grandmothers should be delighted.
