All the essentials for a French country wedding – pretty countryside, a lovely home with a marquee in the garden, a field of sunflowers… and a white horse for the bride. Carla and Alan had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and while proceeding where briefly interrupted by a shower, nothing damped their spirits. The area around the village of Blanzay where Carla’s mum has her home is very lovely, with undulating hills and lots of gorgeous vistas so we made the most of the surroundings for the few minutes of couple portraits. The old Citroen made a great prop too. The fun apparently went on until the early hours as one of my favourite wedding bands in France, Rip-it Encore, were there to get the party going. All in all, a relaxed, fun and very special day.
