Destination wedding photography Beziers – Sara and Michael

Destination wedding photography is just as important for a tiny wedding as for a big one. Sara and Michael gathered just sixteen of their closest family and friends for their destination wedding in France. Michael’s family have been spending holidays just outside Beziers at their house near this lovely venue, the Bastide de Bel Air, for years and it made the perfect backdrop for their intimate celebration. It was quite a windy day for September and Sara’s veil provided some entertainment during the ceremony! And it was a challenge laying the table and getting everything that had been so carefully sourced, to stay where it was supposed to be. It all paid of brilliantly in the end though. Both the bride and groom are quite shy and didn’t want a big fuss either for their day or for their photography. How incredible does Sara look though? Their love for each other and their quiet calm personalities were all that was required to create a set of images that I hope do justice to the beauty of the subjects and the surroundings.

What a wonderful set of memories of a truly special day, despite the wind! From the moment we first met Sara and Michael in Carcassonne to discuss their ceremony we knew it would be a day to remember.
You have captured it beautifully as always.
