I was lucky enough to be invited to photograph Holy Name Catholic Primary School’s parents’ association fashion show last Friday. It was a fabulous evening, brilliantly put together and enjoyed by everyone – except me perhaps! Being a natural light photographer faced with a very atmospheric but gloomy interior lit by some strings of fairy lights and a small pink light aimed at a glitter ball, was challenging to say the least. But after some experimentation and testing my equipment to its limits, I got some great shots of the lovely models, the organisers and the audience. A small selection is here.
