Teenagers’ portraits – family shoot in Golden Acre Park

This family has two rugby-mad boys and they wanted some photographs to capture them before they go off to university. We went to Golden Acre Park which is always a lovely backdrop to family portraits with the lake and woods to walk around. I love taking teenagers’ portraits. They usually think they’re going to hate it and it’s so great when they end up enjoying themselves and their personality shines through. Having a rugby ball to throw about really helped these two forget the awkwardness of being photographed and we had a lot of fun making a set of portraits that have now been framed to put on the walls. And they’re so good-looking!
