I think I may have to get a bit more imaginative with post titles. But since I had us doing Autumn I thought it could be a series, which means that we’ll also have to do Spring and Summer. That’s OK, four times a year shouldn’t be too much of a burden. The other Lawrences might well argue that twice in a weekend is a bit much though! But I think it was worth it as we finally managed to drag Sasha, Maisie and Jasper to Meanwood Park for a bit of sledging. Karl needed no persuading. There was plenty of snow left so it was great fun, apparently. I was obviously far to busy with my camera to take to the sledge or bumboard. We bumped – almost literally – into another family from school so when we’d had enough, we walked to the other side of the park to The Myrtle for a pub lunch. Just the ticket.
It’s a bit of a mishmash of subjects and styles as I played about with different lenses. I know, less is more, but I get carried away.
This man, who shot past the girls as I took this, appeared to be completely on his own and shall we say, past the first flush of youth. Nothing wrong with going out for a bit of solitary sledging when you’re retired…
Getting a bit landscapy now as you can see. Not really my thing usually but thought I’d have a go as it was quite pretty.
More typical perhaps…
Clearly this is not a Lawrence. But he was a very friendly horse.
And off to the pub…
SarahGreat shots! I want a pair of those gloves! S x
JenniferVerity wants some too! Lovely shots. It’s great being the one toting the camera – it gets you out of all sorts of things 😉
SilverbackYou need to break it to Karl (No.7) that his pink thong was showing.
Lovely action family photos, Susie.
chrisHow much fun is that. Love your shots !! Ace weekend
