Terms and conditions

Title

The acceptance of the booking is based on agreement by the Client of the standard terms and conditions as stated below

Consent(Required)

1. All photographic materials, including but not limited to digital negatives, digital and physical proofs, and previews, shall be the exclusive property of Susie Lawrence Photography.(Required)

2. The price of the wedding package is guaranteed at the time of the booking. Products included in the package including albums and prints must be approved within six months of the wedding or additional charges may apply. All reprints, enlargements and extras not included in the package will be at the price current at the time of ordering.(Required)

3. A booking fee of £500 (or as otherwise agreed) is required to be settled on the placement of the booking.(Required)

4. The balance outstanding on the basic wedding price will be paid ONE MONTH prior to the date of the wedding. This is non refundable and remains the property of Susie Lawrence Photography in the event of cancellation up to one month before the wedding.(Required)

5. Any customer failing to notify the photographer of a cancellation less than SIX MONTHS prior to the wedding shall forfeit the booking fee and the same shall remain the property of Susie Lawrence Photography.(Required)

6. Colour photography is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and certain colours may not necessarily be facsimile over the whole range of colours within a subject. Prints made at different times may be variable in colour balance. Please note that some fabrics such as two tone taffeta/satin react differently in some lighting conditions and can cause the colour of the dresses to change, giving incorrect colour beyond the photographer's control - please discuss with the photographer if you in any doubt as Susie Lawrence Photography can not be held responsible for the natural colour deviations which may occur.(Required)

7. The Client is aware that colour dyes and inks used in photography may fade or discolour over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes and inks and the Client releases Susie Lawrence Photography from any liability from any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discolouration due to such inherent qualities. Susie Lawrence Photography however promises to use all reasonable endeavors to minimise the possibilities of fading/discolouration over time, including the use of proven, reliable techniques and high quality photographic materials.(Required)

8. On the day of the wedding Susie Lawrence Photography shall exercise all reaonsable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of their duties. It is understood however that in the event of any unforeseen exceptional circumstances outside the control of the photographer causing loss of photographic record, Susie Lawrence Photography will only be responsible for the return of all monies paid to date, although every effort will be made to retake the photographs.(Required)

9. The final collection of images presented to the Client will not contain all images shot on the day as the photographer will carefully edit to remove blanks, missed expressions, duplicates and any other images not considered appropriate to the coverage. The photographer's decision regarding inclusion of images is final.(Required)

10. The photographer's artistic interpretation including use of software to process images and conversion to black and white is final and the photographer shall not be expected to re-process any images once they have been presented to the Client.(Required)

11. It is understood that the copyright of all and any photographs belongs to Susie Lawrence Photography. Except in the case of digital files included in the package by prior agreement, no photographs may be copied or reproduced by any means photographic, digitally or otherwise by any person or machine other than by the photographer or their appointed agent. Susie Lawrence Photography shall only make reproductions for the Client, their friends and family or for Susie Lawrence Photography's portfolio, samples, self-promotions, company documents, website, blog, entry in photographic contests, art exhibitions or editorial use. Susie Lawrence Photography shall not use the images for other purposes without first obtaining the written permission of the Client.(Required)

12. Susie Lawrence Photography may agree by prior arrangement to accept pre-payment in instalments PROVIDED it is understood the money is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, although the amount paid can be used as credit against further photographic services offered by Susie Lawrence Photography.(Required)

13. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Susie Lawrence Photography shall be the exclusive photographer retained by the Client for the purpose of photographing the wedding. Family and friends of the client shall be permitted to photograph wedding as long as they shall not impede the photographer.(Required)

14. A hot meal is to be provided for the photographer during bookings of over six hours.(Required)

15. We are happy to be contacted occasionally about news and offers from Susie Lawrence Photography (you will not be contacted by anyone else by agreeing to this and messages will be infrequent and interesting!)
